Latanya N. Hunter

LaTanya N. Hunter, SHRM-CP has an extensive background in human resources. LaTanya N. began their career as a HR Generalist at Hogan Lovells in 1997. During their time there, they supported the benefits team, conducted full-cycle recruiting, coached and mentored Recruitment Assistants, and developed job descriptions. In 2007, LaTanya joined Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP as a HR Generalist, where they worked until 2008. Their responsibilities included various HR duties. In 2008, they joined the District of Columbia Bar as the Director of Human Resources.

LaTanya N. Hunter, SHRM-CP, obtained an MS in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed a BA in Political Science and Government at William & Mary from 1993 to 1997. LaTanya's high school education took place at Lancaster High, although the specific dates and any degrees obtained are not provided.

In addition to their academic degrees, LaTanya has pursued further certifications. LaTanya N. completed the DDI Facilitator Certification Process Workshop from DDI | Development Dimensions International in July 2014. LaTanya N. then obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in October 2015. Most recently, in July 2022, LaTanya completed a course on Compensation Studies at Cornell University.
