Emily Burgess has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Most recently, they will be joining Diventures as the Director of Merchandising starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Bozell as a Senior Account Executive, where they handled various aspects of marketing such as brand strategy, experiential marketing, event management, and digital acquisition strategy. Emily gained industry experience in sectors like energy, arts & entertainment, outdoor recreation, CPG/food & retail, healthcare & social assistance, finance, and mergers & acquisitions.

Before Bozell, Emily worked as an Account Manager at CSTMR Fintech Marketing & Design. Emily also served as a Brand & Communications Strategist at Emspace + Lovgren. Earlier in their career, they worked at Bozell as a Senior Project Manager, where they showcased their project management skills. Emily's experience also includes working as a Special Projects Manager at the City of Omaha Parks and Recreation, an Event Manager at Rococo Theatre, and a Graduate Program Coordinator at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Overall, they have a strong background in marketing, communications, project management, and coordination.

Emily Burgess obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Merchandising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained the Experiential Marketing Professional certification from Event Marketer in September 2018, and the International Festival and Event Associate (IFEA) certification from IFEA Europe in January 2015.
