Silvia Martín-Chico

Silvia Martín-Chico has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Silvia began their career at Nova Solutions, S.L.P. as an Abogada, where they were involved in civil and commercial law cases, as well as administrative procedures before the TEAR. In 2016, they joined WIT Abogados, S.L.P. as a Socio Principal, where they provided financial and tax advice, presented taxes, created business plans, and drafted legal documents. Silvia then moved to Arbor Fintech in 2019, where they were a Senior Financial Controller. In this role, they were responsible for the accounting of the parent company and its subsidiaries, as well as financial reporting to investors, compliance reporting, and projects for grants. Finally, in 2022 they joined Divilo as a Financial Controller & Normative Compliance, where they were responsible for reporting to the Bank of Spain, creating accounting with Microsoft Business, and compliance in the prevention of money laundering.

Silvia Martín-Chico has a diverse educational background. Silvia attended Colegio Estudio, Aravaca from 2005-2007, where they obtained a Bachillerato in Ciencias Sociales. Silvia then attended Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2007-2013, where they obtained a Licenciatura in Derecho and a Master's degree in Práctica jurídica. Silvia also completed a Curso de Oratoria at the same university from 2007-2008. From 2014-2015, they attended CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros and obtained a Master's degree in Fiscal/Tributario and a Curso Intensivo ContaPlus in Contabilidad. Silvia also completed a Curso Superior Procedimiento Tributario at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros from 2015-2016. Most recently, they attended Iniciativas empresariales in 2022 and obtained an Experto en interpretación de las NIIF/IFRS in Contabilidad y finanzas. Currently, they are enrolled in Ironhack's Bootcamp for UX/UI Design.
