Spencer Thorp

Spencer Thorp is currently the VP of Home Operations at Divvy Homes. Prior to this, they were a Lead Superintendent at Suffolk Construction, managing operations for commercial and residential construction projects with budgets ranging from $200-$500M. Before that, they were a Project Manager at Whitmores Worsely, Inc., managing high-end residential projects on a macro scale and exploiting opportunities between projects to improve company efficiency and bottom line. Spencer also has experience as a Site Supervisor and Assistant Site Supervisor, managing construction teams and working on high-end residential and municipal projects in the towns of East Hampton and Southampton, NY. Spencer has gained valuable experience in design and the built environment, soil engineering, sustainability, project proposals and budgets, sales, and client interaction.

Spencer Thorp has a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Spencer also has a certification from Live Green Roof, LLC in Live Green Roof Certification, and a certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Project Management Professional (PMP). Additionally, they have a Green Building Certificate from the Green Building Certificate Institute in LEED Green Associate.
