James was promoted to Senior Vice President of DJO’s global Human Resources (HR) organization in July of 2019 after leading the Company’s compensation, benefits, HRIS, HR shared services and HR business intelligence functions since joining the company in 2015. In his new role, James reports directly to CEO Brady Shirley and is responsible for all aspects of human resources, including talent management, total rewards, operations and employee relations. Prior to joining DJO, James was the Vice President of Global Compensation at Thermo Fisher via its acquisition of Life Technologies. Previously, he held several management consulting and sales operations positions with Cisco Systems, William M. Mercer and The Alexander Group. James received his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
