Deborah Tay

Deborah Tay has over 20 years of experience in tax management and consulting. Deborah'smost recent role was as the Head of Tax - Global at DKSH since October 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Tax - Global Downstream at Golden Agri-Resources Ltd from May 2014 to September 2017. Deborah also held the position of Regional Tax Manager at TOTAL Oil Asia Pacific Marketing & Services from April 2011 to May 2014. Before joining TOTAL, they served as the regional tax manager at National Oilwell Varco from September 2008 to March 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at PwC from January 2007 to August 2008 and as a Senior Tax Officer at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore from June 1999 to December 2006.

Deborah Tay holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the National University of Singapore, which they obtained in 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Accountancy at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 1996 to 1999. Deborah also attended Raffles Institution, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In terms of additional certifications, Deborah is an Accredited Tax Advisor from the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals, obtained in 2011, and they are also a Certified Public Accountant from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), which they achieved in 2005.
