The DLH foundation was founded in honor of Deana LaRae Hamilton Hughes who passed away in 2007 of Gastro-esophageal cancer. The DLH Foundation was created by family and friends in 2008.

Our mission is to create a community to support families affected by the CDH1 gene mutation and HDGC (Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer).

The DLH Foundation's mission is to provide the Deana's Wish Memorial Scholarship to college students affected by Gastro-Esophageal cancers in their families and raise awareness.
