Maggie Schmitt is a seasoned professional in public health research with a focus on qualitative methodologies. Currently serving as a Qualitative Researcher at DLH Corporation since January 2023, Maggie previously held prominent roles at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, including Associate Director of the Gender, Adolescent Transitions & Environment Program and Research Project Director in the Department of Sociomedical Sciences. Additional experience includes research consultancy positions at Grow & Know and Sesame Workshop, as well as various roles within Columbia University's Department of Population and Family Health. Maggie's academic qualifications include a Master's in Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in History and Global Health from Northwestern University, complemented by study abroad experiences in South Africa and the Czech Republic.
