Sandra Halverson, PhD, MPH, serves as Vice President and Chief Scientist at DLH Corporation since November 2020 and holds multiple positions at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, including Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine and Associate Director of Graduate Studies for the Institute for Medicine and Public Health. Notably, Sandra Halverson is also Vice President and Chief Scientist at Social & Scientific Systems, a DLH Corporation company, where responsibilities include directing the Survey Research Center and overseeing projects like The Sister Study. Prior experience includes a research assistant role at GlaxoSmithKline and Georgetown University Medical Center. Sandra Halverson earned a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, in addition to pursuing an MBA at East Carolina University.
