Gonzalo Villar

Gonzalo Villar has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Gonzalo began their career at HSBC, where they held various roles including Cards Operations Manager, Senior Analyst, and International Trade Operations Analyst. Gonzalo later worked at HSBC Bank UK plc, where they were involved in Global Operations, Supplier Management, and Strategic Industry Solutions. Currently, they are working at dLocal as Head of Partnerships - LATAM, where they are responsible for building relationships with key players in the payment ecosystem and optimizing processing costs and revenue for Tier1 merchants.

Gonzalo Villar has a degree in Licenciatura en Administración from the University of Buenos Aires, which they obtained from 2007 to 2014. In addition, they pursued a specialization in Finanzas from the Universidad del CEMA in 2015.
