As we build out the future of gaming and player ownership, we are looking for a Sr.DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer.

This role at Mythical Games presents an opportunity for DevOps/SRE to take their career to the next level by joining the most exciting company at the intersection of Gaming, E-commerce, and Blockchain.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of APIs and backend services;
  • Participate in SRE 24/7/365 on-call rotation to ensure the success of uptime-critical applications;
  • Collaborate with the development and security teams to design the infrastructure required for deploying a scalable and reliable application;
  • Collect and evaluate operating systems and applications data to help optimize performance and identify issues;
  • Engage in consulting on system design, managing platforms, and planning for capacity needs;
  • Perform application load testing to expose bottlenecks and other improvement areas before an application goes live;
  • Regularly review existing infrastructure for opportunities for service improvement, cost reduction, and increased security;
  • Develop and maintain operational and procedural documentation for services and infrastructure.

Requirements and skills:

  • 5+ years experience as an Infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability, or another infrastructure-focused engineering role;
  • 3+ years of production experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem;
  • 3+ years experience with Terraform(+Terragrunt) or Crossplane(will be a plus);
  • Experience running production systems over the cloud providers (GCP is preferable);
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis (setup/tune/monitor);
  • Experience with at least one of the programming languages — Golang, Python, Java, etc;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc;
  • Experience with message brokers RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc;
  • Hands-on experience working with HashiCorp Vault, Google KMS;
  • Skills in setup monitoring and alerting (Grafana/Prometheus stack is preferable).

Nice to have:

  • Interest in the game sphere;
  • Technical English(Upper-Intermediate level or above).
