Ankit Verma

Ankit graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) with a Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering, studying bandgap phenomenon in graphene sheets. He later earned his MS in Aerospace Engineering and PhD in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, conducting research on lithium-ion batteries and specializing in modeling of dynamic response of lattice-type metamaterials. Ankit has a varied experience through internships in oil and gas, software engineering, battery manufacturing and fluid dynamics.
