About the role: 

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our US Corporate Tax team, aiming to further enhance scalability and efficiency within the group. This role requires an emerging leader who possesses both innovative and collaborative qualities in team leadership, coupled with strong technical expertise to guide clients and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate will be eager to take charge of overseeing US Corporate Tax operations, driving the implementation of processes and procedures that will ensure the group's success. 

Our tax team comprises industry insiders renowned for their proactive approach to staying abreast of new tax rates, credits, and compliance regulations. Beyond serving as trusted advisors deeply integrated within our clients' teams, our team members are also leading strategists and creative problem solvers. They consistently explore unconventional avenues to address challenges and assist clients in reaching their objectives. 

How you’ll make a difference: 

  • Manage the US corporate tax compliance requirements of our varied client base;
  • Prepare, review and advise on complex US corporate tax returns and other related tax filings;
  • Respond to the inquiries and requests of the IRS and other tax authorities;
  • Research US corporate tax issues, implement tax minimization strategies and participate in other special tax projects;
  • Liase with our Cross Border Personal / Expat Tax team to provide US corporate tax input as it relates to personal and estate planning compliance and planning matters;
  • Assist with client management, foster excellent relationships with clients and initiate business development opportunities;
  • Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness;
  • Train, mentor, and oversee junior staff to facilitate team expansion and growth.

Who you are: 

  • Qualified CPA or US CPA with a minimum of 7 years of US corporate tax experience in a large to medium-sized CPA firm;
  • Senior Manager with strong analytical skills to understand financial information necessary to prepare or review US corporate tax filings and the ability to identify and research tax issues;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service, business development and emerging leadership skills;
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the tax partners and staff to  take on tax projects and get them done from start to finish;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
