Till Soya Rasmussen is a Research Scientist at the Danish Meteorological Institute since November 2009, focusing on operational ocean and sea ice forecasting, particularly in Greenland. Previously, Till Soya Rasmussen held a Postdoctoral position involving ocean modeling of the Faroe Shelf and completed a PhD at the University of Copenhagen, where research centered on numerical modeling of the ocean and sea ice in Nares Strait. Prior experience includes an engineering role at Elsam, performing load calculations on offshore wind turbines. Till Soya Rasmussen holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Ocean and Sea Ice from the University of Copenhagen and a Master of Science in Numerical Modelling and Fluid Dynamics from the Technical University of Denmark, alongside a high school diploma in Mathematical studies from Herlev Gymnasium.
