Systems Engineer at DNA Electronics

Brooks LaBelle has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. They started their career as an Intern at Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc., where they focused on in vivo pharmacology and oncology. They then worked on a senior design project at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied tRNA sequencing techniques. Following this, they joined Boston University and worked on projects related to stereotactic head frame placement and designing a sternum retractor device for cardiac surgery. At Insulet Corporation, LaBelle held roles as a Design Assurance Engineer and a Post Market Associate Engineer, where they contributed to the development and testing of the Omnipod DASH insulin pump system. They also worked as a Systems Engineer at DNA Electronics and Insulet Corporation, where they played a key role in system design, troubleshooting, and data mapping.

Brooks LaBelle completed their Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, which they completed in 2017.
