Juha Niiranen

Juha Niiranen has a strong background in data science and engineering. Juha started their career as a Systems Specialist at Mitox Oy in 2012 and worked there until 2014. Juha then joined the University of Helsinki as a Trainee in 2014 before moving on to Nokia Networks as a Thesis Worker from February to July 2015. Juha then returned to University of Helsinki as a Research Assistant from August 2015 to December 2016. In 2017, they joined DNA Oyj as a Data Scientist and worked their way up to Senior Data Scientist until April 2019. Juha then became the Lead Data Scientist until September 2020, at which point they transitioned to their current role as the Lead Data Engineer.

Juha Niiranen obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from the University of Helsinki in 2012. Juha then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from the same university in 2016. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the SAFe® 4 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2018 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020.
