Vesa Hietanen

Vesa Hietanen has extensive work experience in the field of network security and system engineering. Vesa is currently serving as the Security Services Technical Lead at DNA Oyj since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Wireless Network Specialist at Telia Cygate Oy from December 2020 to September 2021. Vesa also worked as a Network Architect at Fujitsu Finland from August 2018 to November 2020.

Before joining Fujitsu, they worked at DNA Oy for several years, holding various roles such as Senior System Engineer, Head of Technical Service Managers, and Technical Account Manager. During their time at DNA Oy, Vesa was responsible for leading technical architecture, implementing network and security services, and managing customer support activities.

Earlier in their career, Vesa worked as a Senior System Engineer at Forte Netservices Oy, where they focused on designing, implementing, and troubleshooting FW, VPN, SSL-VPN, WLAN, and routing configurations. Vesa also served as a System Engineer and Network Security Specialist at Stonesoft Oyj and Entrepreneur at Promona Finland Oy.

Vesa began their career as a System Specialist at Nokia Networks Oyj in 1998, where they gained valuable expertise in system engineering.
