Alexandre Evans

Research Assistant En R&d - Optimisation Synthèse ARN Et ADN at DNA Script

Alexandre Evans has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biology and research. Alexandre currently works at DNA Script as a Research Assistant - System Integration, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at DNA Script as a Molecular Biology Technician on the DNA synthesis platform from March 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining DNA Script, Alexandre worked at Inra - Institut national de la recherche agronomique (France) as an Engineer of Studies and then as an Assistant Engineer. During their time there from November 2017 to August 2019, they focused on studying the interaction between the intestinal microbiota and its host by high-throughput functional screening. Alexandre was responsible for developing and optimizing cell screens to study the impact of intestinal bacterial populations on signaling pathways of interest, as well as managing the cell culture room and training new arrivals in cell culture and high-throughput screening.

Prior to their work at Inra, Alexandre was an Engineer of Studies at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique from January 2017 to August 2017. Alexandre also gained experience as an Apprentice Technician at Servier from October 2015 to September 2016 and as an Apprentice Technician at Inserm from September 2014 to August 2015.

Additionally, Alexandre has completed internships and projects in the field. Alexandre was a trainee at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research in April 2016, where they gained practical experience. Alexandre also participated in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition as an intern in June to August 2014. In this role, they contributed to the development of a platform for evaluating body odors by collecting biological samples.

Before entering the field of biology and research, Alexandre gained work experience in various roles as a Barista, Warehouse Worker, and Inventory Assistant from 2012 to 2013.

Alexandre Evans began their education at Lycée Notre Dame in Chartres in 2007, where they completed their Baccalauréat Série S Option Biologie in 2008. Alexandre then moved on to Université de Tours in 2008, where they completed their PCEM1 degree in 2009. Following this, Alexandre attended Lycée Jacques-Monod from 2009 to 2011 and obtained their BTS Biotechnologies degree. Alexandre continued their education at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 2013 to 2014, completing their L1 Biologie degree. Alexandre then pursued a DEUST Biotechnologies degree from 2014 to 2015 at the same university. Finally, they completed their Licence Professionnelle Bio-Industries et Biotechnologies degree at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 2015 to 2016.
