Emma Thomée, Ph.D has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Emma is currently working as a Scientist in the Advanced Research Team at DNA Script since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD Candidate and Early Stage Researcher for the MaMi project at Elveflow Microfluidics | an Elvesys brand from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, Emma worked as a Visiting Researcher at CEA from 2020 to 2021 and at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in 2019. Emma also has experience as an Analytical Chemist in Quality Control at QPharma AB, where they specialized in polymeric controlled release systems and solid dosage forms from 2015 to 2016.

Emma Thomée, Ph.D has an extensive education history in the field of engineering and sciences. Emma completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Sciences Naturelles from the International Baccalaureate in 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, which they completed from 2011 to 2017. Additionally, in 2014 and 2015, they attended Nanyang Technological University Singapore to further their studies in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Emma Thomée continued their academic journey by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Strasbourg between 2018 and 2021. Through their educational background, they have gained strong expertise in the field of engineering and sciences, particularly in the areas of biomedical engineering and chemical engineering.
