Jessica Ayache

R&D Senior Scientist at DNA Script

Jessica Ayache has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and research. Jessica currently holds the position of R&D Senior Scientist at DNA Script, starting in December 2021. Previously, they worked as the Head of Biology at Elvesys from October 2018 to June 2021, and at Long Long Life from October 2018 to December 2019. Prior to these roles, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Manager at Inception Therapeutics, where they focused on inflammatory bowel diseases and microbiome understanding. Jessica worked as a Post-doc and Teaching Assistant in Protein Science at Institut Jacques Monod from September 2016 to August 2017. Jessica also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at Université Pierre et Marie Curie from October 2012 to September 2015. Jessica started their career as a PhD Fellow at CNRS, where they specialized in the characterization of DDX6 protein containing complexes in human cells, from October 2012 to September 2015. Before that, they worked as a Master Thesis Student at Institut de la Vision and as a Junior Scientist at Biotech Research & Innovation Centre (BRIC), University of Copenhagen. Jessica began their research journey as a Research Trainee at Inserm. Overall, Jessica Ayache has a strong background in biology, enzymatic assays, big data analysis, and project management.

Jessica Ayache earned their Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences from Université Paris Cité in the years 2007 to 2010. Jessica then pursued a Master's Degree in Biotechnology at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2011 to 2012. Following this, Jessica obtained another Master's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology - Proteomics from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2010 to 2012. Jessica furthered their education at the same university, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry / Cell Biology from 2012 to 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Jessica Ayache earned a certificate in "Giving Sense to Your Leadership Experience" from HEC Paris through Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016. Jessica also obtained a certificate in "Building Your Leadership Skills" from the same institution and platform in July 2016. Additionally, Jessica completed the "Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects" course through Coursera Verified Certificates from San Diego University in February 2015.
