Florante Dela Cruz

Florante Dela Cruz is an experienced software engineer at DNAnexus since 2016, specializing in the development of software solutions. Prior experience includes a role as a research associate at UC Davis from 2010 to 2015, where Florante studied the pathology of infectious diseases with a focus on novel emerging pathogens. Key techniques utilized in this research included molecular cloning, custom antibody production, confocal microscopy, in-situ hybridization, and next-generation sequencing. Florante holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and also completed training at App Academy.
