Keegan Kelsey

Keegan Kelsey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in translational informatics and data science. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at DNAnexus since January 2019, Keegan has held various roles including Principal Scientist, Manager, and Senior Scientist. Prior to this, Keegan worked as a Senior Data Scientist at 23andMe and participated in the Insight Data Science fellowship program as a Data Advisor Fellow. Keegan's academic background includes a PhD in Genetics, Genomics, and Development from Cornell University, complemented by a BA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Additionally, Keegan has experience in research roles at Cornell University and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and has significant leadership experience managing summer programs at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Keegan also boasts athletic prowess as a Division I men's soccer player at Bradley University.
