Megan Laurance

Megan Laurance is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of data services and product marketing. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Data Services at DNAnexus since March 2018, Megan previously held the position of Director of Product Marketing. Prior roles include Program Manager for the Molecular Oncology Initiative at the University of California, San Francisco, and Research Informationist at the Library and Center for Knowledge Management. Earlier in their career, Megan worked as a Scientist and Product Manager at Ingenuity Systems, contributing to the scientific lead for iReport in microarray and RNA-Seq data analysis, and in various scientific roles at Genelabs Technologies. Megan holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Oregon Health & Science University and a BS in Biology and English from Boston College.
