Xindao Qi

Xindao Qi has extensive work experience in software engineering and cloud architecture. Xindao started their career as a Software Engineer at the BBC in 2005, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Strategy & Technology Ltd. Following that, they joined YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP as a Senior Java Developer from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at VisualDNA before transitioning to the role of Principal Software Engineer at Coremetrix, a company powered by CreditInfo, from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Xindao Qi is working as a Cloud Architect at DNANUDGE starting from December 2017.

Xindao Qi has a Master of Engineering Leadership degree in Dependable Software Systems from The University of British Columbia. Xindao also holds a Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies from Regent College. Xindao'sundergraduate degree is a MEng in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the University of York. In addition, they were an exchange student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied Computer Science and Engineering.

Furthermore, Xindao Qi has obtained several certifications. Xindao completed the Principles of Reactive Programming course from Coursera in January 2014. In September 2013, they completed the Startup Engineering course from Coursera. In May 2013, they finished the Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures for Concurrent and Networked Mobile Devices and Clouds course from Coursera. Xindao Qi also completed the Functional Programming Principles in Scala course from Coursera in November 2012. Additionally, they became a Sun Certified Java Programmer SE5 in February 2008, though the institution where they obtained this certification is unknown.
