Nurlan Zhagiparov

Nurlan Zhagiparov is the Co-Founder at DNA Payments Group. Nurlan has over 18 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.

Nurlan started their career at QAZKOM (Kazkommertsbank JSC) in January 2002 as Managing Director and Member of the Management Board. In this role, they were in charge of Retail business, Cards, IT, and Innovations (Homebank.kz & Onlinebank.kz).

In October 2017, Nurlan became Chairman of the Supervisory Board at First Credit Bureau. One year later, they took on the role of Deputy CEO and Member of the Management Board at Halyk Bank. In this role, they were in charge of Digital Banking (Homebank.kz & Onlinebank.kz), Transaction Banking, and Business Supervision of all subsidiary banks of Halyk Group.

Nurlan left Halyk Bank in May 2019 to pursue their current role as Co-Founder at DNA Payments Group.

Nurlan Zhagiparov has earned a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Solent University and an Associate's degree in Computer Science Technology/Advanced Programming from Houston Community College.
