Tianling Wu

Tianling Wu is an accomplished Principal Engineer at Evergy since February 2012, leading the technical architecture for the integration of the KCPL NMS D-SCADA project and implementing real-time data capabilities for distribution automation devices. As Chair of the DNP Users Group since February 2019, Tianling previously served in this role from 2010 to 2012. Tianling's experience includes a significant role as Smart Distribution/DMS Lead on the KCP&L Smart Grid Project, managing teams and regulatory compliance. Additional roles at Kansas City Power & Light involved directing various engineering functions related to outage management and energy management systems. Prior to these positions, Tianling worked as a Sr. Application Engineer/Database Analyst, focusing on Oracle-based applications for utility customers. Tianling holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed the Emerging Leaders Program at Central Exchange.
