Sam Zurn has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as an Admissions Tour Guide and Senior Interviewer at the College of the Holy Cross. They then became a Lead Instructor & Counselor at the YMCA of Greater Seattle in 2018, where they developed and facilitated after-school curriculum and provided leadership training at summer camps. In 2015, Sam joined Isaacson, Miller as a Search Coordinator and was later promoted to Senior Search Coordinator, leading recruitment efforts and managing project timelines. They joined Doc Wayne Youth Services, Inc. in 2019 and held various roles, including Therapeutic Mentor & Community Coach, Training & Education Manager, and currently serve as the Director of Learning. Throughout their roles, Sam gained experience in developing training content, facilitating programs, and providing support to children and adolescents.
Sam Zurn has a diverse education history. They obtained a Master of Education (EdM) degree in Human Development and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2022. Prior to that, Sam earned a Bachelor's Degree with honors in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross from 2011 to 2015. Their academic journey started at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, where they completed their high school education from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Sam also obtained a certification as a Wilderness First Responder from the Wilderness Medicine Training Center in March 2018.
