Job description

The Cloud System Engineer will join the System & Platform Engineering team. You will be responsible for the improvement and evolution of the high availability infrastructure deployed in multiple regions using a DevOps/Gitops approach actively supporting all the engineering teams.

Reports to: System and Platform Engineering Manager  Location: Biassono or Milan, Italy (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Improve the security standards of Docebo’s cloud infrastructure.
  • Maintain the Docebo’s cloud infrastructure to make it more resilient and reliable.
  • Implement automation to ensure the infrastructure can scale.
  • Evolve the infrastructure to ensure that it stays up to date compared to the market standards.
  • Collaborate with the developer team to release new services.
  • Identify and maintain metrics that tell you how your software is performing.
  • Perform debugging activities on Docebo’s cloud infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the implementation of internal automation and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Python/Bash/Go.
  • Intermediate experience with Terraform on complex infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Docker and Linux-based systems.
  • Strong experience with LAMP.
  • Strong expertise in Cloud services such as Amazon AWS/GCP.
  • Proven experience with K8S/EKS.
  • Familiar with monitoring tools like Datadog/Dynatrace.
  • Proven experience with Git and GitLab ecosystem (automations, runners..).
  • A DevOps/Gitops mindset with a strong drive to get things done.
  • Strong attention to detail, and astute diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to solve issues with clear methods while knowing when to take intuitive leaps.
  • A strategic and forward-looking thought process.
  • Able to guide technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Branch, write, test, and deploy code for configuring and managing production services.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree  in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Good source code management.
  • CKAD/CKA Certification.
  • AWS Certifications.
