Vishal Anand

Vishal Anand has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vishal is currently serving as the VP of Engineering and Data Science at Doceree since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Times Internet from 2015 till 2022, holding the position of General Manager Technology and Head of Data Science and Auctioning platform at Colombia. At Times Internet, they developed a highly available and scalable technology stack for real-time auctioning and deployed machine learning models for recommendation and bid optimization.

Before joining Times Internet, Vishal worked at Gemalto as an Engineering Manager from 2014 to 2015. In this role, they led multiple product teams and handled detailed planning and coordination for project execution.

From 2004 to 2014, Vishal held various roles at IBM, including Advisory Software Engineer and Senior Staff Software Engineer. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Rational Software from 2004 to 2011.

Vishal began their career as a Lecturer at JayPee University from 2002 to 2004. Vishal also worked as an Associate Consultant at Citicorp in 1999.

Throughout their career, Vishal has demonstrated expertise in engineering, data science, technology leadership, and project management.

Vishal Anand completed their B.Tech. in CSE from the National Institute of Technology Warangal in 1999. Vishal then pursued their M.Tech. in CSE from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2000 to 2002. Prior to their higher education, they completed their matriculation from Zila School, Katihar in 1992.
