Prior to their work at Gerencianet, Anderson served as the IT Coordinator at FLEETTEC, where they were responsible for overseeing the IT department. Anderson also gained experience as an Analyst of Support at Courart Informática LTDA, where they provided technical support, managed networks and servers, administered databases, conducted beta testing, and implemented and trained clients on various IT systems.

Anderson Mapa da Silva obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Ciência da Computação from Universidade Presidente Antônio Carlos, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Engenharia de software e governanças de tecnologia da informação from Universidade FUMEC, studying from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Anderson obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022.
