Christian Silva

Christian Silva has a diverse work experience in the fields of IT risk management, privacy governance, cybersecurity consulting, and audit. Christian currently works as a Senior IT Risk Management Analyst at Dock, where they are responsible for conducting process mapping, identifying risks, and developing action plans for mitigation. Christian has successfully directed risks in various technology environments and adheres to best practices and requirements such as PCI, NIST, COSO, ISO 27001, 27701, and LGPD.

Prior to Dock, Christian worked as a Senior Privacy Governance Analyst at Dock, where they developed a Privacy Governance Program aligned with ISO 27701 and key regulations such as LGPD and GDPR. Christian led the construction and maintenance of the personal data inventory, incident management, third-party management, and handled data subjects' requests. Christian also became a lead auditor for ISO 27701 and proposed a quality management process for Dock's privacy governance program through their completed MBA in Project Management.

Before joining Dock, Christian served as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at KPMG Brasil, where they focused on privacy and data protection. Christian led LGPD compliance projects, handled process mapping, risk assessment, and governance implementation. Christian was involved in policy development, compliance processes, incident management, Privacy by Design, security assessments, and corporate awareness initiatives.

Christian also gained experience as a Consultor Pleno and Cyber Security & Privacy consultant at KPMG Brasil, where they continued to work on cybersecurity and privacy-related projects for different industries. Additionally, they started their career at KPMG Brasil as an Audit Trainee, providing support to external audits of financial institutions and gaining extensive learning opportunities in terms of systemic analysis and decision-making.

Christian has also worked briefly at Grupo JCA as an Analista de planejamento and at Cargill in the role of Engenharia operacional.

Christian Silva has a diverse education history. From 2014 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Production Engineering at Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Christian then went on to further their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management at MBA USP/Esalq, starting in 2021 and expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Christian has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they acquired the Green Belt Lean 6 Sigma certification from Grupo Voitto. In 2021, they obtained the EXIN - Privacy and Data Protection Foundation certification from EXIN and the Fundamentos de Gestão de Projetos certification from LinkedIn. In 2022, Christian attained the Lead Implementer para a Gestão da Privacidade da Informação (Based on NBR ISO 27701) certification from ABNT - Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained the OneTrust Privacy Professional certification from OneTrust.
