Chris Houhoulis

Chris Houhoulis is an engineer at DockYard. Chris has also worked as a software engineer at One Door, a web developer at interlinkONE, and a teaching assistant and collaborator at RailsBridge Boston.

At One Door, Chris helped organize, develop curriculum for, and serve as a TA at RailsBridgeBoston weekend workshops. Chris did the same at RailsBridge Boston before working as a web developer at interlinkONE.

At interlinkONE, Chris improved the feature set and responsiveness of an existing, money-making Rails product in less than 3 months. Chris also designed and implemented a drag-and-drop interface to their mobile-optimized webpage builder, with live previewing of all edits.

For the rest of their time at interlinkONE, Chris worked as the lead developer for iFlyMobi, in collaboration with the whole development team as the company shifted to a full Scrum process. Chris prototyped API servers in Ruby on Rails, rails-api, and Node.js for a business-critical line of future products.

Chris Houhoulis has a B.S. in Theoretical Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
