Tamika Jackson has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as Promotions Assistant at Crawford Broadcasting in 2014. Tamika then moved on to work as a Communications Specialist at Surely Productions in 2015, and a Promotion Specialist at Greenhouse Agency, Inc. in the same year. In 2016, Jackson took on roles as a Brand Ambassador at Starbucks and a Junior Account Executive at Allied Integrated Marketing. In 2019, they became the Digital Marketing & Communications Manager at Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, where they were promoted within six months, established SMS marketing and toll-free numbers as company standards, and implemented a digital media marketing roadmap strategy. In 2021, Jackson began working as an Associate Digital Marketing Manager (Avocados From Mexico) at Augustine Agency, and in 2022, they took on the role of Marketing Program Manager at Traction.

Tamika Jackson obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism and History from Northern Illinois University between 2009 and 2014. In 2022, they obtained a Foundations of Project Management certification from Coursera. Tamika is currently pursuing their Master of Science in Management with a focus in Business Value and Project Management at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they began in 2023 and is expected to complete in 2025.
