Abdulla Akbar Stage 3 Offshore Derrick Operator

Abdulla Akbar worked as a Stage 3 Offshore Derrick Operator for various companies throughout their career. ABDULLA started their career at Frontline Management in 2009 and then moved on to work for several other organizations including SBM Offshore, Topaz Energy and Marine, and Technip. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Crane Operator and CRO for IES Energy Marine and IES Energy Marine SDN BHD. ABDULLA later joined SMIT Marine Canada as a Derrick Operator for a short duration in 2013. In 2014, they returned to IES Energy Marine SDN BHD as a CRO. ABDULLA then worked for IES Energy Marine and Bourbon as a CRO and Knuckle Boom CRO respectively. Currently, they are serving as a CRO for DOF Norway since 2023.

Abdulla Akbar, a Stage 3 Offshore Derrick Operator, obtained a Diploma of Education from Meenakshi Matriculation School. The field of study for the diploma was AIMS Institute of Technical Management. In addition to their education, Abdulla holds a certification as a SPARROW Stage 3 Offshore Crane Operator from BS 2171 Part 11, which they obtained in November 2021.
