Venessa King

Venessa King has over 17 years of professional experience in marketing, social media, communications, and public relations. Venessa began their career in 2003 as a Freelance Public Relations Consultant at KCD, followed by a role as an Account Executive at 5W Public Relations in 2005. In 2006, they became a Senior Account Executive at LaForce + Stevens and then a Talent Publicist/Representative at Bianconi PR in 2009. In 2010, they joined Harrison & Shriftman as an Account Director, Entertainment + Fashion, Lifestyle. In 2013, they became the Director, Entertainment at Corbis Entertianment, followed by a role as Vice President, Brand Strategy + Entertainment Marketing at TURNER in 2015. In 2020, they began working as an Independent Contractor in Marketing, Social Media, Communications, and in 2021 they became a Member at Chief.

Venessa King obtained a BA in Fashion Merchandising from the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising between 2003 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Communications - Public Relations from Drake University between 1999 and 2003.
