Paul Gorry holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Virology from RMIT University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Paul pursued postdoctoral research in Neurovirology at Harvard Medical School from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Medical Microbiology at RMIT University from 1989 to 1993.
