Cengiz Avcı

Cengiz Avcı is currently working as a Geospatial Data Scientist at Doktar Technologies where Cengiz works on projects involving boundary delineation for agricultural fields and land use land cover classifications for different crop types. Prior to this, Cengiz was a Machine Learning Engineer at FarmOn, where Cengiz developed a tool to calculate the future climate resemblance of different locations. Cengiz also has experience as a Research Assistant at Koç University, focusing on urban occupations in the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey. Cengiz's educational background includes a Master's degree in Satellite Communication and Remote Sensing from Istanbul Technical University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering.
