Sejin Oh

Sejin Oh is a Senior Staff Research Engineer at Dolby Laboratories, with a robust background in standardization and research within the fields of extended reality (XR) and virtual reality (VR). Prior experience includes serving as Standards Manager and Chief Research Engineer at LG Electronics, where significant contributions were made to volumetric video coding standards, point cloud compression specifications, and various multimedia standards within organizations such as MPEG and 3GPP. Earlier roles involved research in multimedia applications and interactive virtual reality systems at the Institute for Creative Technologies at the University of Southern California. Sejin Oh holds a Ph.D. in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, along with a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from the same institution.
