Andrew Walters has over 20 years of experience in software and VLSI design engineering. From 1996 to 1997, they worked as a VLSI Design Engineer at The 3DO Company and CagEnt Technologies. From 1998 to 2012, they were a Senior Software Developer and Senior Software/Firmware Engineer at Microsoft and Intel Corporation respectively. At Microsoft, they specialized in audio/video standards such as DVB, ATSC, MPEG Transport, H. 264, VC-1, and various audio standards. At Intel Corporation, they were responsible for enabling best-in-class voice search on the product and led the development and integration of the onboard audio stack. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Technical Manager and Engineer at Verizon Labs and Antimatter Research, Inc. respectively. Andrew currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Domatic.
Andrew Walters attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
