Carter Gunnell has a diverse work experience starting from 2015. Carter began their career at Lees Marketplace as a General Laborer, where they provided assistance to customers, ensured a positive shopping experience, and organized the frozen foods section. In 2019, they worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Vivint, where they handled customer concerns, resolved issues, and improved customer relationships. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Sales Consultant at Enlite Home, and contributed to the growth of the company. In 2022, they joined Regions Bank as a Relationship Manager Consultant, and in 2023, they started working at Domo as an Account Development Manager.

Carter Gunnell began their education by obtaining a high school diploma from Sky View High School in 2017. Carter then pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at Utah State University from 2019 to 2022. Following that, they enrolled in Utah Valley University where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Applied Communication & Professional Sales from 2022 to 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Carter has obtained several certifications. Carter also obtained certifications in 3 Simple Steps to the Perfect Sales Pitch, Asking Great Sales Questions, Business-to-Business Sales (2017), Delivering a Great Virtual Sales Pitch, Sales Pipeline Management, Sales Prospecting, and Solution Sales, all in February 2023, also from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in February 2022, they obtained a certification as a Student Researcher from the CITI Program.
