Neal Patel

Neal Patel, Pharm.D has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Neal is currently serving as the Head of Global Medical Communications & International Medical Affairs at Dompé since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Medical Communications & Scientific Operations - Global Biotech at Dompé from December 2020 to January 2022. Neal also worked as an Associate Director and Medical Communications Manager at Dompé from March 2020 to December 2020 and from April 2019 to March 2020, respectively.

Before joining Dompé, Patel worked at Santen as part of the Global Medical Affairs team from August 2017 to April 2019. Neal also gained experience as a Clinical Review Pharmacist at Prime Therapeutics from November 2016 to August 2017 and as a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health from July 2016 to November 2016.

Patel's earlier career involved working as a Pharmacy Intern at Healtheast St Josephs Hospital from May 2013 to May 2016 and as a Pharmacy Intern/Technician at CVS Pharmacy from August 2010 to May 2016. Additionally, they served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from February 2010 to May 2012.

Neal Patel, Pharm.D received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2012. Neal then went on to pursue their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree at the University of Minnesota, which they successfully completed in 2016. In addition to their educational qualifications, Patel obtained the Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist (BCMAS) certification from the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA) in December 2019.
