Boyang (Bo) Hong has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Boyang (Bo) started their career as a Project Engineer at Deluxe Corporation where they worked on multi-million dollar projects in printing and package machinery. Boyang (Bo) then moved on to Seagate Technology as a Senior Advisory Engineer, implementing 6-sigma methodology in manufacturing processes and designing a precision pick-and-place system. Additionally, Bo worked at Lockheed Martin as a Staff Mechanical Engineer, utilizing Finite Element Analysis tools to analyze structural and thermal performance of electronic equipment. Boyang (Bo) later joined Electric Machinery as a Staff R&D Engineer, performing rotordynamic calculations for large motors and generators. Currently, Bo is the CAE Leader/Principal Engineer at Donaldson, where they conduct Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics for air filtration systems.
Boyang (Bo) Hong has a degree in MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Boyang (Bo) also holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the same university.
