Liza Pagano has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design and creative direction. Liza has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.

Starting in 2004, Liza worked as an Art Director at Razorfish where they were responsible for designing and developing pitches, presentations, websites, and apps for clients such as Ann Taylor, AOL, Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Company, Garnier, Kodak, Maybelline, and Wrigley. Liza then moved on to work as a Senior Designer at HBO GO from 2007 to 2011.

In 2011, Liza became a Freelance Art Director, taking on projects for various clients including Americans for the Arts, Avon, Bumble & Bumble, Central Park Conservancy, Museum of Modern Art, National Wildlife Foundation, New York Council for the Humanities, Thomson Reuters, and Wave Hill. Liza notably created a series of t-shirt designs for New York City's Central Park Conservancy that are still being sold today.

After their freelance work, Liza joined Asia Society as an Art Director - Contractor in 2013. Liza worked on the Iranian Modern exhibition, developing all museum graphics, and designed the exhibition's 30-foot outdoor display banner.

In 2014, Liza joined JSTOR as a Senior Designer. During their time there, they built a library of photographs, organized and directed photo shoots, and developed the JSTOR Art project initiative which commissioned artists to create their interpretation of the JSTOR brand in poster form. Liza later became the Art Director, where they updated the JSTOR logo and redesigned JSTOR Daily, the online magazine. In 2019, they were promoted to Creative Director, leading a team in developing design solutions for various services under ITHAKA, including JSTOR, Artstor, ITHAKA S+R, and Portico. Liza also played a strategic role in rebranding JSTOR and changing users' perception of the platform.

Most recently, Liza joined DonorsChoose in 2023 as the Design Director, although further details about this role were not provided. Overall, Liza Pagano has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of success in developing brand strategies and creating impactful marketing and communication materials.

Liza Pagano has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from Parsons School of Design - The New School. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including Responsible Tech Mentorship Program - Ethical AI from All Tech Is Human in July 2023, Design Leadership Fundamentals I from Design Dept. in December 2022, and Business Essentials for Designers workshop series through the Designer Fund in January 2019.
