Taylor DeFord Koffel

Taylor DeFord Koffel has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Suite Ambassador at The Colonnade Group in 2016. They then worked as an Adult Beach Volleyball Director and Operations Manager at Tidewater Volleyball Association from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they directed the volleyball program, conducted opening speeches for tournaments, and mentored the youth director.

In 2017, Taylor worked as a Hospitality and Event Trainee at MKTG, where they provided an organized race day experience and managed catering logistics for multiple suites.

From 2018 to 2019, Taylor served as the Adult Volleyball Director & Administrative Director at SportsLink. They scheduled and facilitated volleyball leagues and tournaments for over 1,300 participants annually and managed a team of employees.

In 2018, they also took on the role of 7th Grade Head Volleyball Coach at Charlotte Country Day School. They coached the fundamentals of volleyball and emphasized responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and dedication.

Taylor joined the Humane Society of Charlotte in 2019 and held various roles. They started as a Gift Processing Associate, processing over 30,000 donations annually and managing donor acknowledgements. They then became a Development Coordinator, managing marketing plans and exceeding fundraising goals. Taylor's final role at the organization was as a Development Analyst, where they served as the lead fundraising and giving trend analyst and researched new processing software.

Currently, Taylor DeFord Koffel is working at DonorSearch as a Core Client Success Representative. They began this role in 2022 and are responsible for ensuring client success. In 2023, they will transition to the role of Enterprise Client Success Leader.

Taylor DeFord Koffel completed a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Event Management from Elon University in the years 2013 to 2017. In addition, Taylor obtained a certification in CPR/AED/First Aid from Charlotte Country Day School in August 2018.
