L. John Doerr

L. John Doerr has served as one of DoorDash's directors since March 2015. Mr. Doerr has been a General Partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, or KPCB, a venture capital firm, since August 1980. He currently serves on the board of directors of Alphabet Inc., the parent holding company of Google, Inc., Amyris, Inc., a renewable products company, and Bloom Energy Corporation, a clean energy company, and previously served as a director of Zynga Inc. Mr. Doerr was previously a director of Amazon.com, Inc., an e-commerce company, from 1996 to 2010. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Rice University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
