Darek DeFreece

Darek DeFreece is the Head of Legal at Doorstead. Darek was previously with Identifee, Doorstead, and 500 Startups, where they served as General Counsel. Darek has also served as Outside General Counsel to various early stage companies. Darek is a Regent Emeritus of the University of California and Adjunct Faculty / Instructor at UC Berkeley Extension. Darek is also President Emeritus of the California Alumni Association. Prior to joining Doorstead, they were Managing Director, CAO and Head of Banknote Services at Wells Fargo.
