Anish Shandilya

Anish Shandilya has a diverse work experience that spans across several companies and roles. In 2012, they worked as a Student Intern at Stanford Medical Center. In 2014, they worked as a Computer Science Tutor at the University of California, San Diego, and as an Android Application Developer at Tagtual Technologies. Anish also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Digital Media Academy, where they taught computer applications to teens.

In 2015, Anish worked as a Software Engineering Intern at ViaSat Inc., and in 2016, they had a similar role at Amazon Web Services.

From 2017 to 2018, they were a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Lab126, responsible for handling connectivity requests for Alexa supported devices. During their time there, they brought up a new service container to centralize connectivity logic, performed VIP management and throttling configurations, and successfully moved millions of connected devices across load balancers.

Anish joined Twilio Inc. in 2018 as a Software Engineer II, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer in 2020.

In 2020, Anish also started their own company called AS Creative, where they are the owner. Currently, they are also a Founding Software Engineer at a company called Doppel, starting in October 2022.

Anish Shandilya obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, completing their education from 2013 to 2017.
