Remy Rodrigues has had extensive work experience in the IT field. They started their career as a Sales Associate at The Home Depot in 2005 and then moved on to work as an IT Desktop Support at the Public Health Agency of Canada from 2006 to 2013. During this time, they contributed to the successful migration of Lotus Notes. From 2013 to 2014, Remy worked as a Systems Support Tech III at the North Texas Tollway Authority, where they assisted in the implementation and transition of company assets from Windows XP to Windows 7. Following that, they joined Comcast Spotlight as an IT Support Representative 2 from 2014 to 2016, providing technical support to the company's Operations Management Center. In 2016, Remy joined the City of Louisville as an IT Support Specialist, being extensively involved in the implementation of new technology and providing desktop support for 11 sites across the city. They were promoted to the role of Application Support Specialist, where they worked on various projects for the Police Department and Courts, including implementing new solutions and providing support for enterprise applications. In 2021, Remy took on the role of Application and Project Specialist, supervising the desktop team and promoting security measures. They also served as the Interim IT Operations Manager for a brief period in 2023. Currently, Remy is working at Dorman Products as the IT Lead in the Field Support group, responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing site vendors.
Remy Rodrigues, ITIL, completed their education at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. From 2007 to 2008, Remy pursued a degree in General Arts and Sciences with a field of study in Pre-Animation. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2011, Remy obtained a degree in Media & Design with a specialization in Animation. In addition to their education, Remy holds certifications including ITIL Foundations from AXELOS Global Best Practice, the CompTIA Project+ Certification, and the Professional Management Certificate Program from CompTIA.
