Derron Bohne has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Derron started their career as a Lead Design Engineer at Advanced Design Concepts in 1998 before moving on to Harley-Davidson Motor Company in 2004. At Harley-Davidson, they worked as a Sr. Project Engineer and also served as a Styled Surfaces Designer as an on-site contractor. In 2009, they joined GE Healthcare as a Contract Design Engineer, where they played an integral role in implementing a new CAD system. Derron then joined Cooper Power Systems in 2010 as an Advanced Design Engineer, responsible for the air switch product line and leading cost savings projects. From 2011 to 2015, Derron worked as the Director of Engineering at Process Retail Group, Inc., overseeing multiple engineering teams. In 2015, they joined Generac Power Systems as an Engineering Supervisor, leading the Escalation Engineering Group. Currently, they are a Program Manager at Dorner Mfg. Corp., where they successfully manage projects ranging in value from $100k to $1 million, interfacing with various departments and stakeholders.

Derron Bohne obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Derron attended this institution from 1993 to 1998, focusing their studies on Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics.
