Lulu Liu

Lulu Liu has had a long and varied career in data science. Lulu began their career in 2009 as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan. In 2015, they moved to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. In 2016, they joined Tamr Inc. as a Data Ops Engineer and Insight Data Science as a Data Science Fellow. Most recently, in 2020, they joined dotData | Accelerate Data Science as a Senior Manager of Data Science and Solutions and Senior Data Science Solution Architect, Manager.

Lulu Liu obtained their Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2009. Lulu then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Elementary Particle Physics at the University of Michigan, which they completed in 2014. In addition, they obtained a Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals certification from Coursera in June 2019, and a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2016.
